Welcome to Ward Group

The Ward Group commenced business in 1973 as Bass Civil Engineering, undertaking deep excavation and shoring contracts in the Sydney CBD. Founded by the late Peter Ward, the group now consists of four independent construction-related divisions with offices nation-wide.

Each company within the group is quality endorsed and is supported by an experience management team and professional engineering staff. The group currently has over 350 employees. Although the company continues on without Peter Ward, it maintains its original focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and employees.

Ward Group now provides the resources to carry out any contract relating to civil, environmental and ground engineering and post tensioning.

Civil Engineering

Ward Civil Engineering is a major civil engineering contractor in NSW with a workforce of over 140 people whom carry out public and private works for a vast and diverse list of satisfied clients.

Environmental Engineering

Ward Environmental Engineering’s core business activity is the remediation of contaminated sites and includes on-site treatment or off-site disposal of asbestos impacted soil and materials.

Ground Engineering

Ward Ground Engineering specialises in design and construction of face stabilisation systems including temporary and permanent ground anchors, underpinning, micropiling and shotcreting.

Post Tensioning

Ward Post Tensioning provides innovative design solutions and efficient, professional installation of post tensioning and heavy lifting systems with new technology to the construction industry.
